Please join us as Jeff Morgan presents an insider view about current events in Washington and their potential to impact our profession. He will update us on the SEC’s current agenda as well as the impact of financial regulatory reform on investor relations and financial communications. He will also discuss the SEC's position on proxy mechanics and why the voice of IR is critical to the process.
Jeff has been President and CEO of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) since January 2008. His NIRI responsibilities include the areas of advocacy, education, information dissemination and peer-to-peer networking. He is charged with ensuring NIRI serves as the industry’s primary knowledge and education provider as well as being the chief advocate for the IR profession. Before joining NIRI, Jeff was Chief Operating Officer of the Futures Industry Association (FIA) where he also served as the Executive Vice President of the Institute for Financial Markets, an affiliate of the FIA. He also serves on the NYSE Individual Investor Advisory Committee. |
